Made it black to Helsinki on April 2025! Since Soup + More is closed. We tried this one. Across from it. We had the Salmon Soup and it was delicious! Also the small 'egg empenada' is delish too!

This quaint cafe is nestled in the Old Market Hall, a sort of food court. It’s a bit hidden from the outside but in a great location near the water and other markets. The salmon soup was delicious. It had a perfect salt and herb flavor that complimented a generous portion of salmon.

Delicious Scandinavian food and great service as well. The salmon soup and the Karelian Finnish pie we had were very delicious and reasonably priced.

Their salmon soup was delicious! I could have it every single day. The soup was rather non creamy but had lots of tastes. They put a big chunk of salmon which was generous. The atmosphere is very cosy and I love that you can get water for free.

The salmon soup and the cinnamon buns are great. Enough salmon in the soup and the taste was just great (not too salty). Relaxed atmosphere to sit and enjoy your meal. We also saw a lot of locals eating here and just getting a coffee.

Nice cafe located in the central Old Market Hall. Here you can try a range of local dishes. We caught the chill so we stepped off the cold streets into this sanctuary and warmed up with a hot bowl of Finnish salmon soup. It was delicious and warmed us through wonderfully so that we felt ready to battle the cold again. Can definitely recommend the salmon soup!

Delicious and authentic salmon soup and pastries. A little cramped but it has a nice atmosphere as it is inside the Old Market Hall.
